British photographer Michael Thomas Lowe was raised in a small town outside the industrial city of Birmingham, England.
A longtime resident of the U.S., Michael is a professional artist residing in Durham, NC. During his professional career, Michael was resident photographer for a local Civic Light Opera Company in California. He also worked with an exclusive business club in Savannah, Georgia, photographing the real-life characters from the novel “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”.
In addition, Michael captured Executives and employees for North American Title, Chicago Title, American Title, Fidelity Title insurance Company and more to be used for Brochures/sales materials etc.
Michael continued his photographic career as a freelance photographer for special events and portrait photography. Michael Lowe’s photographs have been enjoyed by people throughout the world. His “Art on Canvas” UK collection was featured at Bistango’s Gallery in Irvine, California, Bonnie Sherman’s in the Los Angeles Design Center and the World Art Gallery in Orange County, California.
Michael’s love of photography began at the age of nine when given his first camera, Brownie 127. This passion has taken Michael trekking with camera and tripod in hand, through all weathers, ominous bogs and across the muddy fields of Great Britain’s countryside. In his endeavor to search for unique landscapes and rustic architecture.
Michael enjoys using the medium of color photography to capture his beautiful homeland. Through his art, Michael desires to convey his vision, emotion and skill with those who wish to share in it.
